University to Society Collaborations in Albania – Presentation of Findings

The Center Science and Innovation for Development has now completed the assessment of the university to society collaborations in Albania and will present the findings of the research in a public event on the 24th November 2021, at 10:00 as a hybrid event at Rogner Hotel and online over Zoom. This event will bring together the actors of the Quadruple Helix according to the model of the European Union to discuss how the cooperation between university and business, policymakers, civil society, and media can be further strengthened in Albania. In addition to the opening remarks by the USIA Project Leader, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Sports as well as the EU Delegation to Albania, Dr. Blerjana Bino will present the key findings of the research conducted by SCiDEV with a particular focus on the recommendations.

This will be followed by a panel discussion with representatives from key stakeholders in order to understand better current initiatives and also to engage in a dialogue for further promotion of the Quadruple Helix Model. We will hear from representatives from the National Resource Center for Civil Society, EU for Innovation Project, PACEP Project, private sectors such as Balfin Group, and media such as A2 CNN Affiliate in Albania.

The research report ‘University to Society Collaborations’ will be published on the day of the event in English and with a short overview in Albania.
