Contemporary Financial Management, an international conference, was held in Belgrade from December 7–10, 2022. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Belgrade, a partner of USIA, in collaboration with other European institutions and other social actors from industry, civil society, the media, and politics. The project manager Prof. Asoc. Dr Nevila Xhindi attended the meeting on behalf of the USIA project. Prof. Xhindi was part in a panel discussion on how academics and local government may work together to promote decentralization.She based her discussion on USIA project result on how the collaboration of universities with industry/business, government/policy and civil society can contribute to the development of human capital and talents, the creation of sustainable innovation ecosystems, and build a strong knowledge-based economy and resilient societies.
