U-SIA ROUNDTABLE | Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana

On June 16, 2021, SCiDEV as WP1 leader organized in cooperation with the Chambre of Commerce and Industry in Tirana a focus group discussion with representatives from the business community in Albania to gather their perceptions towards cooperation with academia and how such cooperation can be enhanced in the future. Business representatives shared their experiences in cooperating with universities and researchers in Albania particularly in terms of curricula update, capacity building, and recruitment of students. Cooperation in terms of the joint research projects was rather limited. Also, they pointed out the necessity to have a platform that facilitates this cooperation and ensures its sustainability. The full findings of the focus groups are included in the report resulted from WP1 assessment.
