What is an entrepreneurial university? Why is this term emerging in the context of transformation of higher education institutions? Why is it important? This handbook should clarify the importance of entrepreneurial university as a form of higher education institution and provide guidelines and advices for the process of transformation of HEIs.
In the context of the changing global environment and societal needs, there is a growing need for higher education institution to adapt their role(in addition to traditional teaching and research) and become more agile. Practitioners and prominent academics have recognized this trend and a concept of “entrepreneurial university” emerged.
